My name is Daniel Shamaun and SLAMcopy is my one-man journalism, copy writing, editing and proofreading business. I grew up in London and studied History to a Masters level at the University of Kent in Canterbury before working as a journalist and member of the editorial team at Kensington and Chelsea Today, an online and print newspaper in the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea in London.

I have experience writing and editing articles, academic essays, and a multitude of texts for businesses ranging from advertisements to legal contracts. In January 2014 I left London to move to Antwerp simultaneously joining the writing team at Misscliks.com, a website dedicated to geek and gamer culture and gender equality in that community. I also now write on a freelance basis for Flanders Today, and a portfolio of articles published in print can be found on the SLAMcopy journalism page. Since coming to Antwerp I have also begun working with international translation company Skrivanek Baltic, a great team of enthusiastic linguists, translators and editors.
